Films: The Church (1989)
Alias: None
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Summary: Once again, a church turns out to be not as holy as people were hoping it would be. But hey, tough luck is tough luck. Could have done without all the demonic activity, though.
History: Somewhere in the 12th century, a horrible massacre took place, as the local authority killed off an entire village of accused devil-worshipers. They then built an entire church on the corpses, hoping to seal off an ancient evil. Fast forward to the modern day, and some idiot librarian removes the only piece of the church keeping said evil at bay. Soon, everyone there is trapped by not only the church's ancient security system, but the copious possessive demons being summoned.
Notable Kills: A person puts on her glasses just in time to see some spikes coming at her throat.
Final Fate: After enduring the demonic madhouse for so long, one person who didn't get possessed finds a way to make the church crumble to rubble. However, another idiot opens the crypt that remains, ensuring that something might happen again...
Powers/Abilities: Possession.
Weakness: The destruction of the church.
Scariness Factor: 4-We got possessing demons. Violent demons. And perhaps most unnerving of all, a genuine goat demon that looks like every bestial depiction of Satan we've seen. Stiff wings aside, it's quite unnerving to see it try and have sex with a women who doesn't even notice. Maybe he was shy?
Trivia: -This film has inexplicably been called a sequel to "Demons" sometimes. Mainly because it was originally going to be, but the director hated that franchise, and wanted nothing to do with it.
-The church this film was filmed in was originally going to be the German Lorenzkirche of Nuremberg, but the locals didn't want a horror movie done there.
